Tues., November 20 · Otis Taylor
A Boulder resident for over 45 years, award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Otis Taylor is “arguably the most relevant blues artist of our time,” Guitar Player magazine wrote. As a teenager Taylor rode his unicycle to the Denver Folklore Center and bummed lessons from music teachers. He managed a national level bicycle racing team in Boulder in the 1980s and also made a living selling antiques and art for many years. He’s a 2000 fellow of the Sundance Institute Film Composers Lab and his music is featured in Michael Mann’s movie Public Enemies as well as other films and television.
